NTFS Access / Privacy
Local processing. Clear choices.
Last updated: November 2, 2026
1. Scope and contact
This policy describes NTFS Access and this support website. For privacy questions, contact support@yzinf.com. The app is currently a development preview; this policy will be reviewed against the final release.
2. Files and folder access
The app reads and changes files locally to perform the operations you request. It uses system folder selection and local permission bookmarks to remember approved locations. In the App Store edition, the file-system extension processes NTFS drive data locally through resources supplied by macOS. The app does not upload file contents, names or paths to us.
3. Information stored on your Mac
Settings, recent-location bookmarks, up to 200 operation records and recovery metadata are stored locally. Records can include filenames, paths, results and timestamps. Recovery holds original files that you moved there. Quick Look may use local cached copies. These files are not sent to us.
4. Your controls
Forget recent folders in Settings and clear operation records in Transfers. Disconnect a location to release its active session. Use Recovery to restore retained originals before removing the app or its local data. Clearing records does not erase the files you copied. macOS backups and diagnostics follow your system settings and Apple’s policies.
5. Accounts, analytics and external links
The app has no account system, advertising, third-party analytics or automatic file upload. Opening support or privacy links launches a website separately. If you email support, your email provider and our mail service process your address and message so we can respond. Do not include secrets or private file contents. Request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us; legal obligations may affect what can be deleted.
6. This website
These static pages contain no analytics scripts, advertising, forms, tracking cookies or third-party fonts. When deployed to Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare may process basic request information such as IP address, requested URL and browser headers to deliver and secure the site. This is hosting activity, separate from the app’s local file processing. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes its practices.
7. Changes
Updates will be published here with a revised date. Any future feature that changes data processing requires a corresponding policy update.
